Marilu Morgan, Board Member
Having grown up in the foothills of the Appalachians, Marilu Morgan has been a nature lover and wildlife enthusiast her entire life. She moved to the Panhandle after graduating summa cum laude from The University of Alabama and began working for the Founder of the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center, M.C. Davis, in early 2013. Though she was hired primarily to assist with his business interests, M.C. recognized a fellow tree hugger and expanded her role, causing her to become fully immersed in conservation, preservation, and environmental education issues. Under M.C.’s mentorship, she gained valuable experience in project management, research, entrepreneurial conservation strategy, and environmental activism. She earned her MBA from the University of West Florida in December 2016.
Marilu is currently working with The Davis Companies as Project Manager. She serves on the Board of Directors as VP Finance of the Florida Wildlife Federation. She is also active in the Junior League of the Emerald Coast.
Marilu lives in Destin with her husband Chatham, daughter Carla May, son Harrison, beagle Hayduke, and golden retriever Bonnie.
